Tivoli 25th Anniversary
In 2019, the Auraria Campus celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Tivoli as a student union. Over the last quarter century, it has served as a unique gathering place for students, faculty, and staff. To celebrate this milestone, I created a limited edition graphic used in many formats throughout the year and beyond.
My goal for this project was to embrace the old logo while creating something fresh and new that could become a sought-after and collectible image. I found inspiration in vintage sports logos, national park patches, and the architecture of the Tivoli itself.

Due to the longevity the signage needed, I created an accompanying mark that used the established date rather than the celebratory tagline. That way, the signage could stay up for many years rather than only from 2019–2020.
Many physical items were made to be distributed for free or to be sold at the campus bookstore. For example, magnets, enamel pins, posters, shirts, hats, stickers, and more.
On August 22, 2019, students, staff, and faculty gathered and officially celebrated the 25th anniversary. All three institution’s mascots were there to show their school pride, games were played, merch was sold, and some delectable treats were enjoyed.
